As it uses the DNS protocol, it is very fast and high performance, even with millions of users and requests.

The Secucloud Mobile Protect service has identified the website you wanted to access as potentially malicious. This means that the website does (or has done in the past) malicious things (e.g. trying to trick people into entering credit card information) or does (or has done in the past) deliver malicious files or implements malicious code.
I see on the blocking page/statistics page that the Secucloud mobile protect service blocks a website that is classified as . Can you please explain what this means?

Yes. the Secucloud Mobile Protect service is enabled from within the network and will provide security also for the devices you are sharing your internet-connection with.
Does the Secucloud mobile protect solution drain my battery, if the service is enabled?
No, not at all. The Secucloud Mobile Protect service works within the network and uses filtering and security systems in our data centers. The security filtering does not affect the battery life of your device in any way.
Does the Secucloud mobile protect solution make my phone behave slower, if the service is enabled?
No, not at all. The Secucloud Mobile Protect service works within the network and uses filtering and security systems in our data centers. The security filtering does not create any load on your device.
Will Secucloud mobile protect be working when i change my smartphone?
Yes, the service is independent from your smartphone. The security features are bound to your MSISDN / contract.
Do i have to update my device in any way?
No. Thanks to the cloud environment, there is no need for manual updates on any device. The updates will be performed automatically in real time in the cloud environment.
Do I have to install an app on my device?
No. The traffic will be automatically routed through the security service, there is no need for an installation of any app. All necessary steps are handled by Ooredoo to secure your device
Will Secucloud mobile protect be collecting any data?
The only collected data is the amount and category of collected websites to generate the blocking statistics. No customer data is stored or referenced with the MSISDN number. The shown statistics are only visible to the owner of the contract
Will my data volume be influenced by the Secucloud mobile protect service?
No. The data volume won’t be influenced by the service and there is no additional data created by the device. Everything is processed and updated beyond the environment of the used device.
I think I have a virus on my phone, even though I booked the Secucloud mobile protect service. Why?
The Secucloud Mobile Protect service cannot provide 100% security against all possible threats or attacks (no solution can provide that). For instances, the service can not recognize or block malicious files that you download via Email, Skype, Whatsapp or any encrypted channel. The service is also not enabled in 3rd party WiFis nor can it protect against data transferred via Bluetooth, USB or memory card.
It seems that the Secucloud mobile protect service is not active when i use my proxy / vpn / anti-advertisement / privacy app?
Some of those apps are hiding the data that is used to identify your access from our security servers. This means you are actively bypassing the Secucloud Mobile Protect service while using such apps. \
I booked the Secucloud mobile protect solution and still receive spam emails. Should the service not block such emails?
The Secucloud Mobile Protect service filters security threats while you are browsing the internet or while apps you have installed use the internet connection to receive data. It does not provide a SPAM- or Advertisement filter and does not work within emails. It will, however, work if you click on a malicious link in an Email that points to a malicious website.
I booked the Secucloud mobile protect solution and still receive SMS / Whatsapp / Skype messages / invites that look fake. Should the service not block such messages?
The Secucloud Mobile Protect service filters security threats while you are browsing the internet or while apps you have installed use the internet connection to receive data. It does not filter chat or text messages. It will, however, work if you click on a malicious link in a text-message or chat that points to a malicious website.
